Patna: Fourth batch of Bihar contingent including squash and athletics teams left Patna to participate in the 36th National Games being held in Gujarat. Both these teams will go to Ahmedabad. This information was given by Mohammad Mushtaque Ahmed, general secretary, Bihar Olympic Association.
He said that before the departure of the teams, the players were given warm send off by the president of Bihar Olympic Association, Abdul Bari Siddiqui, director general of Bihar State Sports Authority, Raveendran Sankaran, director-cum-secretary Pankaj Raj, senior vice president of Bihar Olympic Association Ramashish Prasad Singh, secretary of Bihar State Kabaddi Association Kumar Vijay, executive member of Bihar Olympic Association cum secretary of Athletic Association Liaquat Ali and secretary of Squash Association Kaushal Kishore Singh.
Teams: Squash: Men: Abdur Rahman, Gaurav Kumar, Saurabh Kumar Agarwal, Shivam Kant.
Women: Sunny Mehta, Soni Kumari, Pooja Dubey, Anamika Kumari. Coach- Ayesha Ahmed, Manager- Tejnarayan Kumar.
Athletics: Anjani Kumari, Shivani Kumari, Sunny Kumar, Manager – Mohammad Harun Ansari, Coach – Khubshu Kumari.
