Oxford Super Kings, JIS Jaabanj Register Victories in Casa Picolla Cricket League

Patna: Oxford Super Kings and JIS Jaabanj won their Super Six matches of the Casa Picolla School Cricket League Season-5 being played under the aegis of Turning Point at at Krishna Cricket Ground on Monday. Oxford Super Kings defeated Baddi Fighters by 6 wickets while JIS Jabanj defeated Manav Rachna Lions by 135 runs.

In today’s match, Himanshu Raj of JIS Jaabanj missed a double century. He played a brilliant innings of 190 runs.

Oxford Super Kings won the toss and invited Baddi Fighters to bat. Baddi Fighters scored 117 runs for 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Ayush Jha scored 31 runs. In reply, Oxford Super Kings won the match by scoring 118 runs for 4 wickets in 17.4 overs. Satyamev Group Player of the Match award was given to Rajiv (49 runs) of the winning team by Mayor representative of Patna Municipal Corporation Shishir Kumar.

In the second match, Manav Rachna Lions won the toss and invited JIS Jaabanj to bat. In reply, Manav Rachna Lions scored 139 runs losing 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. JIS Jaabanj won by 135 runs. Himanshu Raj of the winning team was awarded Player of the Match.
