Patna: Under the aegis of the All Bihar Chess Association, and with support from the Department of Posts, Patna, the Bihar Postal Chess Academy is set to organise a state-level rapid chess tournament from 9 to 10 November at the Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Postal Cultural Centre, located at R Block, Patna.
This two-day rapid chess competition will award a total cash prize of ₹25,000 to the top players. Matches will follow a time format of 15 minutes with a 10-second increment per move. Participation is limited to 100 players, and the final date to register is 7 November 2024.
