Patna: Bala Jalauddin, a resident of Darbhanga district of Bihar, has been selected for the Indian para track cycling team. At present, Jalauddin is undergoing training in Hyderabad with the support of the Aditya Mehta Foundation.

The secretary of the Cycling Association of Bihar, Kaushal Kishore Singh, said that even before this, Jalauddin had brought laurels to the state by participating in several national and international level competitions.

On being selected once again in the Indian team, the executive president of the association, Vikram Aditya, treasurer Baijnath Prasad, and coach Abhay Kumar Lewis have congratulated him and wished him a bright future. As it is known, Jalauddin has only one leg, and he can ride a bicycle at a speed of 35 kilometres per hour with only one leg.

If advanced training is given to him by the state government by providing him with advanced cycles, then certainly this cyclist will bring laurels to the state by getting a medal in the international competition.
