Patna: Kartikey Agassi of Bihar lost his U-16 singles final against Karan Rawat of Maharashtra 2-6, 5-7 in the AITA Championship Series played at Zirakpur (Punjab).
According to his coach Kunal Aikat of Caper Tennis Academy (Patna) Kartikey was bit shaky in the final and could not find his form properly against Rawat.
However, partnering with Ujjal Verma of Uttar Pradesh, Kartikey annexed the U-18 doubles title defeating Harsh Sandaliya of Haryana and Sehaj Singh Bajwa of Punjab 7-5, 4-6, 10-5. It was keenly contested final and the result was declared through super tie break.
