Patna: Bihar bagged 31 medals including 14 gold, 7 silver and 10 bronze medals in the 34th East Zone Athletics Championship being held in Kolkata, organized by West Bengal Athletics Association and Government of West Bengal under the aegis of Athletics Federation of India.
For Bihar Aman Kumar won gold medal in shot put in with a throw of 16.10 metres in the boys under 16 age group and Devraj won the silver medal with a heave of 15:52 metres.
In the girls under-18 age group, Alka Singh won the gold medal in shot put with a throw of 14.95 meters.
