Patna: Bihar Cambridge Cricket Academy and YCC Sports Academy booked their berths in the semi-finals of the Dr Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial Under-13 Cricket Tournament at CAB ground on Wednesday.
In the first quarterfinal, Bihar Cambridge Cricket Academy defeated Lakshya Cricket Academy by 65 runs while in the second quarterfinal, YCC Sports Academy defeated CAB Fighter by 130 runs.
Bihar Cambridge Cricket Academy won the toss and batting first scored 228 runs for nine wickets in 25 overs. Utsav scored 72 and Arjun scored 56 runs. In reply, the team of Lakshya Cricket Academy was all out for 163 runs in 19.3 overs. Sameer scored 61 runs. The Utsav of the winning team was given of Player of the Match award.
YCC Sports Academy scored 252 for five in 25 overs with the help of Pratyush Vidhu’s 148. Tejashwi scored 58 runs. In reply, CAB Fighter’s team was all out for 122 runs in 17 overs. Pratyush Vidhu of the winning team was awarded the man of the match award by Sunil Singh of Zenith Commerce Academy.
