Bihar bag four gold medals in 22nd Junior National Wushu Championship

Patna: Bihar Wushu team won 4 gold medals, one silver medal and 14 bronze medals on the fourth day of 22nd Junior National Wushu Championship at Patliputra Sports Complex here.

Till now, Aparajita Mishra (Muzaffarpur) claimed one gold medal and one silver medal. Arpita Das clinched two gold and one bronze medals while Kritika Anand won one bronze medal. Both the girls belong to Bhagalpur district.

Aditya Kumar (Darbhanga) annexed one gold medal and Shagun Singh ( Patna) won one gold Medal and one Bronze medals. In group event Bihar bagged three bronze medals.

In Shanshu (fighting event) Aman Kumar of Bhojpur won bronze medal, Shubham Kumar (Patna) bagged one bronze medal. Amrit Kumar (Buxar) entered the final and Priyashu Kumari (Buxar) entered the semi-finals in fighting event.

On August 11, at 11:00 am, the chief guest of the closing ceremony, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav will felicitate the players.
