Patna: It rained runs in the match played under Patna District Senior Division Cricket League on Wednesday at Patna’s Urja Stadium. A lot of fours and sixes were hit. Many times the ball went out of the stadium.

First, Piyush Kumar Singh, playing for PESU, scored an inning of 163 runs in 124 balls with the help of 8 fours and 14 sixes and his team scored 275 runs in the stipulated 40 overs.

Chasing the target of 278 runs, two batsmen of YMCC scored centurues and chased the target easily. These two batsmen were Ashish Mishra and Rishabh Rakesh. Ashish Mishra scored unbeaten 140 runs in 107 balls with the help of 16 fours and 4 sixes and Rishabh Rakesh scored unbeaten 101 runs in 79 balls with the help of 7 fours and 4 sixes and thus YMCC won this match by eight wickets scoring 281 runs for two wickets in 37.5 overs.

Apart from this, in two other matches, Crescent CC defeated Secretariat CC by 64 runs and GAC defeated Panchsheel CC by 5 wickets.

PESU vs YMCC

In this match played at the local Energy Stadium, PESU won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 275 runs for 7 wickets in the stipulated 40 overs. For PESU, Piyush Kumar Singh scored 163, Shashim Rathore scored 47, Babul 19 and Akash scored 15 runs.

On behalf of YMCC, Rishabh Rakesh took 2 wickets for 38 runs, Sanjeet took 2 wickets for 37 runs and Harshvardha Monty took 2 wickets for 52 runs.

In reply, YMCC won the match by scoring 281 runs for two wickets in 37.5 overs with the help of centuries from Ashish (140 not out) and Rishabh Rakesh (101 not out). Rishabh Rakesh was given the Player of the Match award.

Crescent CC vs Secretariat CC

In the match played at the local Moinul Haq Stadium, Crescent CC won the toss and with the help of Ranjan’s 132 runs, scored 226 runs for seven wickets in 40 overs. Sujal Kumar played an inning of 50 runs for Crescent.

In reply, Secretariat CC team was all out for 162 runs in 33.5 overs. Ansh Aryan scored 53 runs. Ranjan of the winning team was given the Player of the Match award.

Panchsheel CC vs GAC

In this match played at Sampatchak Ground, GAC won the toss and invited Panchsheel CC to bat. Panchsheel scored 185 runs losing all the wickets in 29.4 overs. For Panchsheel CC, Shubham Kumar scored 25 runs, Parth scored 33 runs, Aditya Shivam scored 40 runs, Abhishek Kumar scored 10 runs, Saurabh Singh scored 31 runs and Amit scored 14 runs.

For GAC, Vikas Krishna took 5 wickets for 34 runs.

In reply, GAC team won the match by scoring 186 runs for five wickets in 26.4 overs. Vikas Krishna scored 41, Rishabh Raj scored 45, Rohit Rai scored 20, Ayush Sharma scored 26, Abhishek scored 13 not out and Abhiraj Prateek scored 26 not out. Vikas Krishna was given the Player of the Match award.
