Patna: Basawan Park Cricket Academy defeated Lalmati Devi High School by 146 runs in the opening match of the 2nd Anoop and Ajit Sinha Memorial Under-13 Cricket Tournament at Shakha Ground here on Wednesday. The tournament is being organised by YCC Cricket Academy.
Lalmati Devi High School won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, Basawan Park Cricket Academy scored 300 runs in the allotted overs. Chasing the target, Lalmati Devi High School were all out for 154 runs. Hariom was awarded the player of the match award.
The tournament was inaugurated by Anjani Kumar Singh, Krishna Shankar Singh, Shashank Shekhar Sinha, Shailendra Kunwar, Bipin Bihari, SP Verma, Ranjit Kumar Singh, Ajit Kumar and Santosh Kumar by releasing balloons in the air.
