Begusarai: In the Group G match of BCA Senior Cricket Tournament organized by Begusarai District Cricket Association under the auspices of Bihar Cricket Association, Bhagalpur registered their second consecutive win by defeating Lakhisarai by 8 wickets in the on Thursday.
After winning the toss and batting first, Lakhisarai team scored only 193 runs losing 10 wickets in 43.1 overs. Abhiraj scored 41 runs, Babul Arya scored 38 runs.
For Bhagalpur, Sachin Kumar took 3 wickets, Abhishek took 2 wickets, Kunal, Piyush Raj and Suryavansh took one wicket each respectively.
Bhagalpur team chased the target in 24.4 overs. In batting, Basukinath scored unbeaten 83 runs, Mayank Chaudhary scored 57 runs and Vikas Yadav scored 34 unbeaten runs. In bowling for Lakhisarai, Prannoy Prasad took 1 wicket and Abhishek Kumar took 1 wicket.
