Patna: Bengal were 191 for the loss of three wickets against Bihar in their first innings on the first day of the four-day Cooch Behar Trophy U-19 Tournament at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Friday.
Bihar won the toss and asked Bengal to bat first. The match started two hours late due to a wet pitch. For Bengal, Aniket Biswas scored 58 runs, Agnishwar Das made 35 runs and Sumit Nag scored 5 runs. Sayan Dey remained unbeaten on 63 runs and Rohit Pradhan remained unbeaten on 22 runs.
For Bihar, Vasudev Prasad Singh took two wickets and Anup Kumar took one wicket.
Earlier, Bihar art, culture and youth affairs minister Jitendra Rai inaugurated the match. Pankaj Raj, director cum secretary, Bihar State Sports Authority, was special guest.
