Begusarai: In the Central Zone of the BCA Shyamal Sinha Inter District Under-16 Cricket Tournament, Begusarai secured a commanding victory over Khagaria by 135 runs. However, despite this impressive win, they had to settle for third place due to the net run rate.
In this zone, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, and Begusarai all finished with nine points each. Thanks to a superior net run rate, Samastipur (+1.759) emerged as the zone champion, while Muzaffarpur (+1.262) secured second place, and Begusarai (+1.225) took third.
