Patna, June 3: In the ongoing BCA Senior Men’s Cricket Tournament Super League match at Patna’s Moinul Haque Stadium, Begusarai showcased their dominance against Patna. Scoring an impressive 476 runs in their first innings, thanks largely to Prithvi Raj’s outstanding double century, Begusarai put Patna under pressure. By the end of the second day’s play, Patna found themselves trailing by 327 runs, having managed only 149 runs for the loss of four wickets.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Begusarai’s batting lineup delivered a commendable performance. Prithvi Raj’s resilient innings of 257 runs, featuring 24 fours and 6 sixes, formed the backbone of their total. Contributions from other players such as Murari, Aditya Soni, Bharat Kumar, and Nishit Kumar further solidified their position.
