Patna: The first meeting of the BCL Governing Council was held at the BCA office in Patliputra under the chairmanship of Chairman Sanjay Kumar. In the meeting, the newly elected Chairman and Convener jointly welcomed the BCA Secretary, Treasurer and other specially invited members by giving them bouquets.
After discussing all the previously announced agenda, Convenor Gyaneshwar Gautam said that we have started preparations for BCL Season 2 from today and probably it will begin from the first week of March after obtaining permission from BCCI. It was unanimously decided that the Women’s Premier League will also be organised. A committee has been formed to look into the technical work in this regard, which will submit its report within 15 days and after that, formal preparations will begin.
BCA President Rakesh Tiwari, while congratulating the Governing Council, said that this time the event should be better than before, you all should make preparations. BCA is also ready to support you at every level. Expressing happiness over the decision to women’s premier league, Secretary Ziayul Afrin said that this will be an excellent step towards women empowerment.
