Patna: Partha Sharma (66 runs, 69 balls, 9 fours) scored a half-century and Radhey Shyam (5 wickets) helped Bata CC beat Hercules CC by 28 runs in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League, organised by PDCA ad-hoc committee on Wednesday.
Hercules CC won the toss and invited Bata CC to bat in the match played at Genex Cricket Academy, Sampatchak ground.
Bata CC scored 166 runs for nine wickets in 30 overs. Parth Sharma from Bata CC scored 66 runs in 69 balls with the help of nine fours.
Chasing the target of 167 runs, Hercules CC were all out for 138 runs in 28.3 overs. Hercules CC scored maximum 36 runs with the help of Extras. Radhe Shyam of the winning team was declared player of the match.
