Patna: All-round play by Prince Kumar (66 runs, five wickets) and excellent batting by Yash Pratap (90 runs) helped Basawan Park Cricket Academy defeat Jaguar Cricket Academy B by a huge margin of 149 runs in the Vipul Kumar Memorial Gen Nex Challenger Trophy Under-16 Cricket Tournament.
Basawan Park Cricket Academy won the toss and scored 226 runs losing all wickets in 29 overs at Gen Nex Cricket Academy ground on Sunday.
In reply, the Jaguar Cricket Academy B team could not stand in front of the Basawan Park Cricket Academy bowlers and were bundled out for just 77 runs in 15.5 overs. Player of the match award to Prince was presented by former Sikkim U-25 player Vishwanath Kumar.
