Patna: In the 71st Bihar State Senior Football Championship for SM Moinul Haq Cup 2023 organised by Bihar Football Association, Banka District beat Jamalpur Railway 3-1 at RMK Inter College Football Ground in Banka on Wednesday.
Simon Murmur scored the first goal in the 23rd minutes while the second goal was scored by Dinesh Hembrum in 66th minutes. The third and final goal was scored by Dinesh Hembrum in the 84th minute of the game. Amit Kumar scored the only goal for Jamalpur.
Santosh Kumar Pandey (Buxar) Mohan Kumar (Patna) Ravi Ranjan (Samastipur) and Arun Hansna (Patna) were the judges for today’s match.
Bihar Football Association secretary Syed Imtiaz Hussain said that on August 10 the first match will be played between Saharsa and Bhagalpur and second match between Banka and Supaul.
