Patna: The 21st Bihar State Sub Junior Boys Kabaddi Championship hosted by Samastipur District Kabaddi Association under the banner of Bihar State Kabaddi Association, will be held at St.Xavier’s International School, Rani, Bachhwara from October 29.
This information was given by Kumar Vijay Singh, Secretary of Bihar State Kabaddi Association. He said that all the teams should reach the venue by 5:00 pm on October 28.
Only players registered with the Bihar State Kabaddi Association will participate in the championship. Players need to bring an Aadhaar card for age verification. Players should not more than 55 kg and should be born on or after 01.01.2008.
Vijay said that apart from the teams of the district unit, a team of Bihar State Sports Authority will also participate. Kumar Vijay said that Bihar boys kabaddi team will be selected on the basis of this championship. A two-month training camp will be organised for the selected player.
For the successful conduct of the competition, 30 technical officials have been deputed under the leadership of Bihar Referee Board Chairman Anand Shankar Tiwari and International Referee Rana Ranjit Singh. Begusarai District Kabaddi Association Secretary Shyam Nandan Singh has been made the observer of the championship.
NIS coaches Bhavesh Kumar and Abhinav Kumar Singh have been given the responsibility of selecting players.
