Patna: Babul Kumar cracked a double century and Shivam Singh hit a century as Bihar piled up 474 in the first innings on the second day of their four-day Ranji Trophy match against Mizoram at Gokulbhai Somabhai Patel Stadium in Nadiad on Wednesday.
Mizoram were 36 for the loss of two wickets in their first innings at the end of second day’s play.
Babul Kumar who was unbeaten on 128 at the end of first day’s play hit a double century (209) while Shivan Singh who was unbeaten on 47 too slammed a century (110). Babul’s 209 contained 31 boundaries and one six. Shivam’s knock of 110 contained 15 boundaries and it came of 323 balls.
