Patna: Assam defeated Bihar by 101 runs in the Women U-23 One Day tournament at Seth Anandram Jaipuria Ground in Lucknow on Tuesday.
Bihar won the toss and invited Assam to bat first. Batting first, Assam scored 235 runs losing nine wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. For Assam, Anamika Bori played an excellent inning of 98 runs, apart from her captain Rashmi played an inning of 42 runs and Maina Narah scored 30 runs. For Bihar, Rachna took three wickets and Komal, Pragati, Rishika took one wicket each.
In reply to Assam’s 235 runs, Bihar were all out after scoring only 134 runs. For Bihar, Pragati Singh scored 46 runs and Komal scored 17 runs. For Assam, Rashmi took three wickets and Reema Pahari and Shikha took two wickets each. Bihar will play against Chandigarh on February 3.
