Patna: Thanks to the brilliant bowling of Apoorva Anand (four wickets) and the half-century innings of Kumar Rajneesh (55 runs), Amar CC continued their winning streak in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League and defeated YCC by ten wickets. This was Amar CC’s second consecutive victory.
In the match played at the local Sampatchak Ground, YCC won the toss and decided to bat first. YCC team was all out for 91 runs after losing all the wickets in 25 overs. Dhananjay Kumar Singh scored 25 runs in 49 balls while Naveen Chandra scored 22 runs in 23 balls.
For Amar CC, Apoorva Anand took 4 wickets for 23 runs.
In reply, Amar CC won the match by scoring 93 runs in 11.5 overs without losing any wicket. Kumar Rajneesh scored unbeaten 55 runs. Kumud Ranj played an inning of 17 runs. Apoorva Anand of the winning team was given the Player of the Match award.
