Patna: The All India Senior National Arbiter Seminar commenced today at the Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna, organised by the All Bihar Chess Association under the aegis of the All India Chess Federation. This two-day seminar, held with the support of the Bihar State Sports Authority, features a total of 63 participants from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Jharkhand, Bengal, and Meghalaya. Notably, 44 trainee arbiters from Bihar, including 12 women, are participating.
FIDE lecturer Swapnil Bansod, the main lecturer for the seminar, stated that participants would receive comprehensive information on all aspects of the technical conduct of chess competitions. Following the seminar, a test will be conducted, and successful participants will be certified for various levels.
