Patna: Akash Raj scored a brilliant century (106) to help Bihar score 246 for the loss of six wickets in their first innings on the opening day of the four-day Col CK Nayudu Trophy match against Vidarbha in Nagpur on Sunday.
Bihar won the toss and decided to bat first. Apart from Akash, Ayush scored 12 runs, Vaibhav scored 11 runs, Md Alam scored 15 runs and Gautam scored 38 runs At the end of the day’s play, Suraj Kashyap was unbeaten on 48 runs.
For Vidarbha, Praveen and Praful took three wickets each.
