Patna: Due to brilliant batting of Ajit Kumar (80 runs) and excellent bowling of Mukesh (four wickets), Adalatganj CC defeated Bata CC by a huge margin of 146 runs in Patna District Senior Division Cricket League on Saturday.
In the match played at Sampatchak Ground, Adalatganj CC won the toss and batting first scored 251 runs for nine wickets in 35 overs. Ajit Kumar scored 80 runs in 52 balls with the help of 5 fours and 7 sixes, Adarsh Raj scored 39 runs, Iwad Ahmed scored 30 runs.
For Bata CC, Mohammad Shahzad and Ayush Raj took 3 wickets each.
In reply, Bata CC wer all out for 105 runs in 23.3 overs. Md Neyaz scored 22 runs, Baljit Singh Bihari scored 17 runs, Sagar scored 25 runs, Ayush Prakash Singh scored 13 runs.
