Patna: The four-day Bihar vs Goa Col CK Nayudu Trophy match ended in draw at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Wednesday. Goa collected three points by virtue of the first innings lead while Bihar remained satisfied with one point.
Needing 351 runs for an outright win in the second innings, Bihar made 243 for the loss of three wickets at the end of the fourth day’s play.
Earlier, resuming the day on 175/2 , Goa declared their second innings 330 for six and gave an imposing 351 runs to Bihar to win the match. Vaibhav Govekar who was unbeaten on 112 at the end of the third day’s play added 16 more runs before being clean bowled by Vikash Jha. However, the other overnight batsman and captain Kashyap Bakle not out on 48 completed his century (108). Bakle’s 108 came off 172 balls with 12 hits to the fence.
In Bihar’s second innings, captain Akash Raj cracked an unbeaten century 100 (114 balls, 9×4, 1×6) while Ankit Raj made 78.
