Patna: The third selection trial of players for the formation of teams participating in the third season of Casa Picolla School Cricket Under-15 League organised by Turning Point was held at Khushi Cricket Academy, Mithila Colony here on Saturday.
The trial was inaugurated by ward councillor Arjun Paswan, inspector BP Srivastava and Pramod Kumar.
Giving this information Turning Point MD Vijay Sharma said that a total of 150 players took part in this selection trial.
The players were selected by an eight-member selection committee comprising Saurabh Chakraborty, Praveen Sinha, Yatendra Kumar, Baijnath Prasad, Rajesh Ranjan, Raja Kumar, Mukesh Kumar and Anish Kumar.
League convenor Sumit Sharma said that this league will be organised with the technical assistance of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation.
Trial coordinator Naveen Kumar said that players from 13 to 15 years age group participated in the selection trial. Players were selected for two teams JBIT Changers and JIS Janbaz.
