Patna: In the 43rd Sub Junior National Ball Badminton Championship at Rohtak, Haryana, Bihar’s boys’ team delivered impressive results in today’s league matches. They first defeated Delhi decisively with scores of 35-17, 35-21. In a thrilling second match, Bihar overcame Kerala in a closely contested game, winning 33-35, 39-38, 35-30, securing a spot in the quarterfinals.
In the girls’ league match, Bihar cruised to victory over Madhya Pradesh, winning comfortably 35-13, 35-10.
Gouri Shankar, Secretary of the Bihar Ball Badminton Association, praised the outstanding performances of Naitik, Anshu, Saurav, Gaurav, and Lalan in the boys’ category, while Harshita, Shibu Kumari, and Muskan Kumari shone for the girls’ team.
