Bihar’s SGFI softball team leaves for Aurangabad

Patna: The 67th SGFI Softball Boys and Girls Under-19 Tournament is going to be organized in Aurangabad, Maharashtra from January 29 to 1 February. A team of 12-member boys and girls’ players from Bihar left to participate in this tournament. This information was given by Pankaj Raj, Director cum Secretary of Bihar State Sports Authority.

He said that the Bihar team is participating in this championship after 21 years. The main reason for this is the inclusion of this game in the Olympics and Asian Games. The team was selected based on its performance in the trials. Raja Prakshit will lead the boys’ team while Shreya Ramesh will lead the girls team.

Boys: Raja Prakshit (Captain), Rahul Kumar (Vice Captain), Umag Kumar Singh, Aditya Kumar Yadav, Devranjan Gupta, Mohammad Rizwan, Harsh Kumar Jha, Kumar Vaibhav Mohan, Mohammad Shariq Ali, Aman Kumar, Saurav Krishna, Raja Kumar. Coach- Saket Kumar.
