Patna: Thanks to the brilliant centuries of Nikki Kumari (141 runs, 19 fours, 5 sixes) and Shikha Singh (114 runs, 70 balls, 15 fours, 4 sixes), Bihar Cricket Academy Red defeated Bihar Cricket Academy Blue by 167 runs in the exhibition women’s cricket match organized on the occasion of Republic Day.
In this match played at the Bihar Cricket Academy Ground on the campus of La Martiniere World School, Sampatchak, Bihar Cricket Academy Red won the toss and, batting first, scored a huge score of 313 runs for 6 wickets in 35 overs. Nikki Kumari scored 141 runs in 107 balls with the help of 19 fours and 5 sixes. Shikha Singh scored 114 runs in 70 balls with the help of 15 fours and 4 sixes.
In reply, Bihar Cricket Academy Blue team was all out after scoring 146 runs in 29 overs with the help of Simran’s unbeaten 65 runs. Simran scored unbeaten 65 runs in 67 balls with the help of 13 fours and 1 six.
The Player of the Match award was given jointly to Nikki and Shikha. Both players were given cash prizes.
The players were rewarded by Chandra Prakash (Chunnu Yadav), Navratna Kumar Singh, academy coach Ashutosh Kumar.
