Imperial FC earn full points in Rajkumar Mahaseth Memorial Patna Football League

Patna: Imperial FC defeated KK Singh XI 2-0 in the match played on Friday in the Rajkumar Mahaseth Memorial Patna District Senior Division Football League at VN Sharma Institute Sports Ground, Khagaul (Danapur Station) under the auspices of Patna Football Association. The SDFC vs Danapur United match ended in a goalless draw.

The first match was played between Imperial FC and KK Singh XI. The number of goals scored in this match equals the number of yellow cards. In the 12th minute of the game, Imperial’s Rakesh Hansda scored a goal to give his team the lead which lasted till the first half. Shortly before the end of the second half, Lawrence Tudu scored the second goal for his team to give Imperial FC a 2-0 victory. Lawrence Tudu scored this goal in the 82nd minute. Imperial’s Dipu Kumar and KK Singh XI’s Amresh Thakur were shown yellow cards. Rakesh Hansda of the winning team was given the Player of the Match award by Pradeep Kumar, Assistant General Secretary of Danapur Mandal Sports Association.

The second match was played between SDFC vs Danapur United. Although no goals were scored in this match, there were red-yellow contests between the players. SDFC’s Arun Mukhi was shown a red card. Saryu Kumar of the same team was shown yellow card and Chandrabhushan and Abhishek Kumar of Danapur were shown yellow cards. Amidst all this, Rakesh Kumar of Danapur became the player of the match and was awarded by Tanveer ul Haq, former general secretary of Danapur Division Sports Association. The referees of the match were Kishan Kumar, Shubham Kumar, Sunil Kumar and Harendra Yadav.
