Patna: VTech School Cricket Championship started on Wednesday under the aegis of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation. In the first match Kaumadki XI defeated Sudarshan XI by 66 runs.
Kaumadaki XI won the toss and batting first scored 215 runs for four wickets in 25 overs. Divyanshu scored 38, Pawan made 47 runs and Satyam scored 60 runs. Sahil took 2 wickets for 81 runs, Shahyar took 1 wicket for 60 runs and Himanshu took 1 wicket for 49 runs.
In reply, Sudarshan XI’s team was all out for 155 runs in 22.3 overs. Shahryar scored 50, Ravi scored 29 and Sahil scored 25 runs. Aditya took 3 wickets for 32 runs, Divyanshu took 2 wickets for 29 runs and Satyam took 1 wicket for 20 runs. Satyam was awarded the Player of the Match award.
