Patna: BIOC defeated YCC B by 42 runs in the Vipul Kumar Memorial GeN NeX Challenger Trophy Under-16 cricket tournament at Gen Nex Cricket Academy ground in Sampatchak (Patna) on Monday.
YCC B won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first, BIOC scored 114 runs in 28.4 overs. Sunny Kumar contributed 33 runs and Shubham Kumar contributed 23 runs for BIOC side. Ashish Kumar took 3 wickets and Divyansh, Yuvraj, Harsh Nitin and Tauseef took one wicket each for YCC side.
In reply, YCC B were all out for 72 runs in 21.5 overs. Shashwat Kumar took 4 wickets and Sunny Kumar took 3 wickets from BIOC side. Sunny Kumar was declared man of the match. Man of the match award was given by Pradeep Kumar. Tomorrow’s match will be played with YCC B team vs Gen Nex Cricket Academy A.
