Ranchi: Ananya bagged triple crowns in the 10th Ranchi District Badminton Championship winning girls U-17, U-19 singles titles and U-19 doubles title partnering with Khushi Priya.
As many as 30 finals were played on Sunday.
In the boys U-9 singles, Tanush Ramesh beat Eklavya Agrawal to win the title. In the boys U-11 category, D Rajveer beat Isan Kumar Pandey to bag the title. In U-13 boys final, Sri Ram Ratan beat Aniket Kumar to capture the title. In boys U-15 category, Pranit R Singh outplayed Manas Ranjan to win the title. In the boys U-17 section, Yuv Raj Kumar beat Ashu Gopal to win the title. In the boys U-19 section, Liladhar Upadhyay beat Deepak Mahto to win the title. Safi Akram annexed the men’s singles title defeating Ankit Gope.
In the girls U-11 section, Prerana Shome beat Aarshita to win the title. Shambhavi Burman won the girls U-13 title defeating Vaanya Khanna. Puja Kumari won the girls U-15 singles title defeating Eeshi Verma. Ananya Singh won the girls U-17 singles title defeating Garima Kachhap. Ananya won the girls U1-9 title defeating Shreys Sheetal.
Women’s singles title went to Manisha Rani Tirkey, who beat Zeenat Arra.
YS Ramesh, commandant, Jharkhand Armed Police, who was the chief guest at the closing function, gave away the prizes.
