Patna: Patna District Junior Division Cricket League will begin from April 29 and it will be played on five grounds, according to BCA constituted ad hoc committee for Patna district cricket convenor Rajesh Kumar and member Rehbar Abedin.
Member Rehbar Abedin said due to the heat wave, the league is being organised late. He said that the matches of this league would be organised at five sports grounds in Patna. For the successful conduct of the matches, a committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Dhananjay Kumar, in which Dr Mukesh Kumar, Sunil Kumar and Nishant Mohan will be members.
Rehbar Abedin said that the Patna District Senior Division Cricket was successfully conducted by the ad hoc committee and the league is at its final stage. The performance of the Patna district team participating in the tournament organised by BCA has been better so far. The selection process of the players has also been done in a better way and so far no controversy has come to the fore so far.
He said that the schedule of Junior Division Cricket League will also be released soon.
