Patna: Rohtas beat Aurangabad by 29 runs in the Randhir Verma Inter-District Under-19 Cricket Tournament at the Jagjivan Stadium in Shahabad Zone to register their third win in four matches of the tournament.
Batting first after winning the toss, Rohtas scored 205 runs losing all wickets in 48.2 overs in 50 overs match. For Rohtas, Karan contributed 48 runs, Aryan Kumar made 44 runs and Ankit Raj scored 37 runs. Jyotiraditya and Sonal Singh took three wickets each.
Chasing 206 to win, Aurangabad scored 176 runs losing all wickets in 47.2 overs. For Aurangabad, Saif Ali scored 38 runs, Harsh Giri 23 runs, Nitish Kumar 22 runs and Nitish Singh 15 runs. Ankit bagged three wickets for Rohtas. Siddharth Gautam got 2 wickets. Ankit Raj of Rohtas DCA was adjudged the best player of the match in the match.
