18 schools get district-level National Clean School awards in Patna

Patna, August 1: Patna district magistrate Dr Chandrashekhar Singh on Monday gave away certificates to the selected schools in the “National Clean School Award, 2021-22″at his office here.  As many as 18 schools were selected in different categories. The prizes were received by the principals /representatives of these schools. District education officer Amit Kumar and block education officers of the respective blocks were also present on the occasion.

The schools which received the award were Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT, Patna; M.S. Tara Nagar Sikriya Bihta; M.S.Ghulam Ali chak Bihta; T.P.H.S.Bihta; Kendriya Vidyalaya A.F.S.Bihta; Christopher Public School, Danapur; R.P.C. Academy Danapur; Kendriya Vidyalaya-Khagaul (Danapur); D.A.V Public School; Arya Samaj Mandir, Danapur; Gyan Niketan Danapur; M.S. Karara Ghoswari; MS Dariyapur Sampatchak; Higher Secondary School Suitha Phulwarisharif; MS Phulwarisharif; Christ Church Diocesan School Khagaul Danapur; UMS Noorichak, Punpun; Aryabhatta Niketan Danapur and Shaheed Ramanand High School, Lakhna, Punpun.

DM Singh extended his warm congratulations and best wishes to all the principals and representatives of the school. He said that this has been achieved only because of your dedication, commitment and relentless efforts. He said that this trend of cleanliness should be maintained continuously, cleanliness should be reflected in the behavior of the students and there should be excellent academic environment in the schools.

DM Singh said that the objective of ‘Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar’ is to recognise, inspire and reward excellence in the field of water, sanitation and hygiene in schools in rural and urban areas. Schools that have taken remarkable steps towards complying with the standards of cleanliness will always be honoured.

He said that that cleanliness should be an integral part of our lifestyle. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we all must ensure compliance with COVID-friendly behaviour.
