Patna: Students from Open Mind A Birla School, Danapur, recently won three bronze medals at the National Judo Championship organised by CBSE, held at Saluja Gold International School, Banhatti, Giridih (Jharkhand). Aradhya Sharma (Class 2B), Soham Kumar (Class 6D), and Shwetank (Class 9B) each achieved bronze in their respective weight categories.
Congratulating the medal-winning students, the school’s director Aman Kumar and principal Paljinder Singh Paul expressed pride in their achievements and announced that they would be honoured by the school. They highlighted that Open Mind A Birla School, Danapur, places emphasis not only on academics but also on holistic development, encouraging students to excel in sports and other activities. Regular sports training sessions are held at the school, with students receiving specialised coaching to prepare them for competitive events.
