Patna: YMCC, while continuing its winning streak, secured a place in the Super League of Patna District Senior Division Cricket League. YMCC, playing in Group C, defeated ERCC by 8 wickets in its fifth match. YMCC won all their matches so far. They still have one match to play.

In other matches of the league, Rising Star defeated YCC by a huge margin of 188 runs with the help of good batting of Animesh (101 runs) and Lalit Narayan Mishra (62 runs) and excellent bowling of Aditya Dhanraj (5 wickets) while Sharma Sporting recorded a 6-wicket victory over PAC.

YMCC vs ERCC

In this match played at the local Moinul Haq Stadium, YMCC won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, ERCC scored 176 runs after losing all the wickets in 40 overs with the help of 37 runs from Abhishek Singh. For YMCC, Satyam and Divyansh took two wickets each while Suraj Kashyap took one wicket.

In reply, YMCC won the match by scoring 182 runs for two wickets in 32.3 overs with the help of Harshvardhan Monty’s unbeaten 93 runs. Harshvardhan scored 93 runs in 97 balls with the help of 7 fours and 1 six. Ashish Mishra played an inning of 31 runs for YMCC.

Abhinav Singh and Bunty took 1 wicket each from ERCC. Harshvardhan was given the Player of the Match award.

Rising Star vs YCC

In the match played at NIOC Ground, Rising Star won the toss and batting first scored 252 runs for 3 wickets in 40 overs. In the match played at Sampatchak Ground, Sharma Sporting won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, PAC scored 83 runs losing all the wickets in 24 overs. Anurag Kumar played an inning of 29 runs. In reply, Sharma Sporting won the match by scoring 85 runs for four wickets in 24.5 overs with the help of 34 runs from Pankaj Shah. Mohit Kumar, who took two wickets, was given the Player of the Match award.
