Patna: Former international cricketer Syed Saba Karim’s 54th birthday was celebrated by the trainees at the YCC Sports Academy ground here. YCC Sports Academy coach Santosh Kumar cut the cake and wished Karim a long life and a better future.
Saba Karim started his cricket career by taking training at this ground. Santosh Kumar said that Saba Karim talked to all the players through WhatsApp video call.
On this occasion his mentor cum YCC Sports Academy chairman Adhikari MM Prasad, Ranji player Ashish Sinha, Rahbar Abdeen, Mahendra Kumar, Ayush Kumar, Mahfooz Qamar, Santosh Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Sujit Kumar, Kumar Abhimanyu, Ranjit Kumar Singh, Deepak Kumar, U-19 Bihar player Shobhana Saket, former Bihar U-19 team captain Shruti Gupta, senior player Tejashwi, trainees of the academy and their guardians were present.
