Winner and KCA maintain winning streak in Kaimur District Cricket League

Bhabhua: Two matches were played on Saturday in the Amarendra Pandey ‘Tappu’ Memorial Kaimur District Junior Cricket League, being played under the aegis of Kaimur District Cricket Association, in which Winner Cricket Club and Kaimur Cricket Academy emerged victorious.

The first match was played at Jagjivan Stadium, Bhabhua between Trophy Fighter Cricket Club, Bhabhua and Kaimur Cricket Academy (KCA), Bhabhua. After winning the toss and batting first, Trophy Fighter Cricket Club scored 153 runs losing all the wickets in 29 overs. For Trophy Fighter, Anand scored 29 runs, Satyam and Rohit scored 18 runs each and Vinayak and Abhay scored 13 runs each.
For KCA side, Ankit took 3 wickets, Ashutosh, Adarsh and Hariom took 2 wickets each.

Chasing 153 runs, Kaimur Cricket Academy won the match by losing 3 wickets in 22 overs. Chitrasen Bhola scored a brilliant 82 runs. Apart from this, Siddharth contributed 37 unbeaten runs and Abhishek contributed 27 runs. In bowling for Trophy Fighter, Vishal, Satyam and Jibran got 1 wicket each. Chitrasen was adjudged the best player of the match.

The second match was played between Bharti Cricket Club Junior Mohania and Winner Cricket Club Mohania at MP College ground. After winning the toss and batting first, Indian Cricket Club set a target of only 112 runs losing all the wickets in 25 overs in which Abhishek Kumar Yadav played a brilliant inning of 65 runs in 56 balls. In bowling, Prem Singh took 3 wickets, Makhan took 2 wickets and Puneet, Ishtiaq, Narendra took 1 wicket each.

While chasing the easy target, the winning team also struggled a lot and won the match by scoring 117 runs after losing 7 wickets in 26 overs. On behalf of Winner, Ajay scored 25 runs, Anju Kumar, Anurag and Ishtiaq played scored 13 runs each. On behalf of Indian Cricket Club, Vansh took 3 wickets, Himanshu took 2 wickets, Priyanshu and Vishal took 1 wicket each. Abhishek Yadav was given the Man of the Match award for his excellent batting performance..
