Patna: Warriors and Jaabanj emerged victorious in their respective matches on Wednesday, 5th February, in the Asha Baba Champions Trophy Under-15 Cricket Tournament at Krishna Stadium, Khemnichak. Warriors defeated Thunderbolt by three wickets, while Jaabanj secured a seven-wicket win against Knightriders.
Winning the toss, Warriors opted to bat first and posted a formidable total of 175 runs for the loss of three wickets in 20 overs. In response, Thunderbolt managed 163 runs for seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Kumar Kartavya delivered a stellar performance, scoring an unbeaten 103 runs, earning him the Player of the Match award.
In the second match, Knightriders won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 96 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. Jaabanj comfortably chased down the target, reaching 99 runs for the loss of three wickets in just 13 overs. Himanshu’s crucial innings secured him the Player of the Match title.
