Vijay Hazare Trophy: Haryana drub Bihar by nine wickets

Patna: Haryana defeated Bihar by 9 wickets in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match played at Alur Cricket Ground in Bangalore on Tuesday. Haryana achieved the target of 159 runs given by Bihar for the loss of one wicket in 22.2 overs.

Haryana won the toss and decided to field. Batting first, the Bihar were all out for 158 runs in 47.5 overs. Sachin Kumar Singh scored 33 and Pratap scored 31 runs for Bihar. Nishant Sindhu and JJ Yadav took 3 wickets each for Haryana.

In reply, Haryana hit up the required runs in 22.2 overs, thanks to captain HJ Rana’s unbeaten 101 and Yuvraj Singh’s unbeaten 32. Bihar’s Harsh Vikram Singh got the lone wicket of Haryana opener CK Bishnoi who made 23 runs.
