Patna: Chandigarh defeated Bihar by 100 runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy played at the Railway Cricket Ground in Ahmedabad. In this match, Chandigarh won the toss, batted first, and scored 253 runs for eight wickets, while the Bihar team was all out after scoring 153 runs in 41.4 overs.
Batting first, Chandigarh team’s Arsalan Khan and Gaurav Puri scored 56 runs each, Bhagmendra Lather scored 49 runs, Arjun Azad scored 24 runs, Arijit Singh scored 22 runs and Karan Kalia scored 19 runs., For Bihar, captain Ashutosh Aman took 4 wickets, Sachin Kumar Singh took 2 wickets and Gajendra and Malay Raj took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Bihar were all out after scoring 153 runs in 41.4 overs. Captain Ashutosh Aman scored unbeaten 37, Baljeet Singh Bihari scored 12 runs, Babul Kumar scored 18 runs, Sachin Kumar Singh scored 22 runs. Chandigarh’s Mandeep Singh took 3 wickets, Nippon Pandita and Arjun Azad took 2 wickets each, and Sandeep Sharma and Karan Kalia took one wicket each.
