Patna: VGU Thunderbolt and Aanjikya Bombers won their respective matches played on Tuesday at Casa Picolla School Cricket League Season-5. VGU Thunderbolt defeated RIT Champions by 8 wickets and Aanjikya Bombers defeated Aditya Dabang by 17 runs. Sanku Sharma and Aniket Prakash were the heroes of the matches.
In the first match, VGU Thunderbolt won the toss and decided to field first. RIT Champions batted first and scored 144 runs losing all wickets in 20 overs. VGU Thunderbolt won the match by scoring 145 runs in 19.3 overs for the loss of two wickets with the help of half-centuries from Sanku Sharma (61 runs) and Shaurya Pratap Singh (51 runs). Sanku Sharma (61 runs) of the winning team was given the Spectra Fly Ash Man of the Match award by Congress spokesperson Engineer Raju Kumar Paswan.
In the second match, Aanjikya Bombers won the toss and batting first scored 147 runs losing all wickets in 19.3 overs. Aniket Prakash scored 63 runs. In reply, Aditya Dabang scored 130 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. Anuj Kumar scored 63 runs. Aniket Prakash (63 runs, 1 wicket) of the winning team was given the Spectra Fly Ash Player of the Match award.
