Patna: On the first day of the Cooch Behar U-19 Trophy match at the Keenan Stadium in Jamshedpur, Bihar were 404 runs for six wickets in the first innings against Jharkhand, thanks to centuries from Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Md Alam.
After winning the toss, Bihar batted first. Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 151 runs, while Alam scored 157 not out. The two centuries propped up Bihar innings as, at the end of the day’s play Bihar gathered 405 runs for six wickets.
For Bihar, Chandan Kumar made 38 runs, Animesh Kumar scored 16 runs, Taufiq made 3 runs, Himanshu Nagar scored 2 runs and Harsh Raj scored 18 runs. For Jharkhand, Abhishek took 3 wickets and Prince, Varun and Tanish took one wicket each.
