Lucknow/Greater Noida, September 28 : The second edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS), held at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, is shaping up to be just as successful as the first. With over 1.7 lakh visitors in just three days, the event’s growing impact is clear.
More than 50,000 business-to-business (B2B) visitors and approximately 1.25 lakh business-to-consumer (B2C) attendees visited the expo between September 25 and 27.

It is important to note that the International Trade Show is being held across 15 halls at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, featuring participation from 2,550 exhibitors.
According to the information provided, on the first day of the mega event, which began on September 25, the India Expo Mart saw 14,222 business-to-business (B2B) visitors and 25,589 business-to-consumer (B2C) visitors, totaling 40,811 participants on the opening day.
Similarly, on the second day, September 26, the trade show recorded a total of 62,937 visitors, with 16,385 B2B and 46,552 B2C attendees. On the third day, Friday, a total of 71,545 people attended, including 20,210 B2B and 51,335 B2C visitors.
The noteworthy aspect is that the number of visitors has increased each day, and this trend is expected to continue over the last two days of the event.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s primary objective in organizing the UP International Trade Show is to provide a global platform for products from across the state, where international buyers can not only view but also market these products worldwide.
In line with CM Yogi’s vision, the first edition of the trade show saw 70,000 B2B visitors and 2.37 lakh B2C visitors. Similarly, the second edition has attracted a significant number of participants.
According to the organizers, over the first three days alone, 1,75,283 visitors attended the event. This number is expected to grow substantially as the five-day event progresses.
UP International Trade Show makes waves on social media
The UP International Trade Show has also gained significant traction on social media platforms. Various hashtags were employed to promote this mega event, reaching millions of people over the past 179 days. The hashtag #UPITS2024 achieved a social media reach of 32 million (3.2 crores), while #UPInternationalTradeShow reached 27 million (2.7 crores). Additionally, #Upinternationaltradeshow2024 garnered 4.8 million (48 lakhs), #UPITS reached 71.9 thousand, and #GlobalBizHubUP achieved a reach of 65.9 thousand.
Former Chief Secretary visits UP International Trade Show
Both prominent figures and the general public continue to visit the UP International Trade Show 2024. On Saturday, former Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra also attended the event. During his visit, he toured the pavilion of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) and was warmly welcomed by the Authority’s CEO, Dr. Arunvir Singh.
He was briefed on the progress of various YEIDA projects, including the Medical Devices Park, Toy Park, and Apparel Park. Additionally, information was provided about upcoming initiatives, such as the proposed Semiconductor Park, IT and Software Park, Fintech City, Heritage City, Mixed Land Use, and Education Hub. Durga Shankar Mishra praised YEIDA’s efforts and extended his best wishes for their future projects.
