The last time both sides met was on October 12th in the 9th edition of Pro Kabaddi League which saw Dabang Delhi KC win by a slender margin of 2 points. However, Surender Gill outclassed everyone else in this game earning a whopping 21 points single handedly for UP Yoddhas. UP Yoddhas who were dominant on their attacking front throughout the game lacked sheen in their defense and that resulted in the game slipping away from their hand. Statistically however UP Yoddhas have had a comfortable edge over Dabang Delhi KC as the former have won five times of the eight encounters both the teams have had till date in the Pro Kabaddi League.
“We have momentum and we want to maintain that for the rest of our games. I have always said that Kabaddi is unpredictable, but we are confident of a good show as we as a team seem to be clicking from the last few games and that’s great news for not just me and the team but also for our management and the fans. I am looking forward to our game with Dabang Delhi KC and we as a team have trained hard to not let our momentum slide by,” said, Jasveer Singh, Head Coach UP Yoddhas.
Captain Pardeep Narwal, who has displayed great captaincy skills along with traces of his old form will have a lot to showcase in this game along with his super raiding duo of Surender Gill and Rohit Tomar. In the last few games UP Yoddhas defensive combination of Nitesh Kumar, Ashu Singh and Sumit have sprung back to action earning points in packs for the team and a lot will be expected from this trio on the mat against Dabang Delhi KC.
