Patna: Chhattisgarh defeated Bihar by six wickets in the U-23 Women’s T-20 match held at Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana Ground, Kandivali, Mumbai on Friday.
In this match, Bihar team won the toss and batted first. Thanks to Preeti’s 30 runs and Vishalakshi and Pragati’s 10 runs each, Bihar scored 96 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. For Chhattisgarh, Manasvi took 2 wickets and Mamta, Sweta and Sakshi took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Chhattisgarh team won the match by six wickets by scoring 98 runs in 18 overs with Kirti 38 runs and Sanjana Pardi 26 runs both remained not out. Chhattisgarh’s Nidhi was out after scoring 12 runs, For Bihar, Vaidehi took 2 wickets and Rachna and Sarita took 1 wicket each.
