Trophies Unveiled for Nanhak Mahato Cricket

Patna: The trophies given to winner and runner up teams of the fourth Nanhak Mahato Memorial Inter School Cricket Tournament sponsored by Casa Picolla Restaurant were unveiled here on Sunday. The tournament will be held from April 16 at the Krishna Cricket Ground under the banner of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation.

The trophies were jointly launched by Rashmi Chandravanshi, Deputy Mayor, Patna, Indradeep Chandravanshi, Ashish Kumar, Member Empowered Committee, Patna Municipal Corporation, Vijay Sharma, chairman, Casa Picolla School Cricket League, Rajesh Sharma, MD, Casa Picolla and Sumit Sharma.

On this occasion, MD of Casa Picolla Restaurant Rajesh Kumar said that this tournament is being organized in the memory Nanhak Mahato who contributed a lot in the field of social service. He said that the tournament will be organised under the supervision of Santosh Tiwari, Founder of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation.

Santosh Tiwari said that a total of 24 teams will be allowed to participate in the tournament. All matches will be played on knockout basis and will be of 25 overs a side.

Vijay Sharma said that there will be lot of prizes prizes at stake in this tournament. The winning and runner-up teams will be given many prizes including trophies. Man of the Match awards will also be given every day. Many other awards including Man of the Series, Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Best Fielder, Best Wicketkeeper will also be given.
